Your True Christian Journey is a concept I came up with in 2010  – aiding Christians in strengthening their walk with Christ through my own studies, personal life experiences, business experiences, and more.

I have been saved since 2001, but I didn’t bring Jesus into my heart fully until 2009.  For 8 years I built my knowledge in the Word.  Then it became something…..more.

This blog is the beginning stage of my ministry.  Actually, this is the 2nd blog I have started for 2 reasons:  one is technical, the other is I simply wanted a fresh new start.  Through my prior 3 years of blogging about faith, I’ve learned a great deal about myself, my writing skills, what I’ve been called to do, and how I should be doing it.  This blog is a continuous story.   My testimony involves abuse and neglect in some of the worst forms.  It’s one of broken marriages and relationships.  It’s one of heartbreak and laughter, along with blessings beyond belief.  As you follow, you will find these blogs are an ongoing story of my experiences and how the principles of the Bible have worked through them.  It’s a continual story of learning and teaching.  It’s my walk with Him, and bringing you along with us.  It’s all of us, learning and growing together.  Sometimes I write solely focused on teaching the meaning(s) of different parts of the bible through my own studies of the Word in context, along with the occasional translation from the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.  Sometimes I share my experiences in life to encourage others in overcoming certain things in their lives.  Sometimes I focus on apologetics, sometimes political issues, and I certainly can’t forget my greatest love of the Word:  End times Prophecy.

Jack of all trades, master of none….but beneficial to all in many areas.  This is me.  I hope you enjoy my writing and are blessed by it.  My prayer is that I touch many and strengthen as all venture in Your True Christian Journey.

Love and blessings to ALL.

    1. Ed, I’m sorry you misread the words in my atheist blog. The practices of Catholicism are anti-biblical, which I clearly pointed out. It’s not to say that every Catholic isn’t a Christian. If you are offended by this, I would get into your Bible and study it for yourself. It’s all in there.
      God bless my friend.

      1. May I add I’ve known a number of RC’s who are filled and led by Holy Spirit. I helped one, since ordained as Deacon, run an Alpha course in his RC church. That renowned course has a teaching away-day on Holy Spirit and we went to Douai Abbey to by taught by one of the Benedictine monks. He started by dishing out Bibles and told us when he did that at a seminar for priests he was met with, “We don’t need these – we’re priests!” So the monk gave them a very severe dressing down!

      1. I’m glad it works. Btw, you spoke of being 43 like it’s a big deal — and it is. But you’ll have to run fast to catch me. I’m 63. 🙂

      2. Why have you disabled your comments on your last post? I thought I read you are always open for discussion with atheists but then you lock your blog? I saw the word ‘Courage’ in your post but it does not seem to be too courageous posting a view and locking the discussion part. You are also showing a lack of understanding of atheism and a lack of research into your own beliefs which should/could be discussed…unless you are avoiding discussions and don’t like to face truths presented to you by those who have gone beyond a simple, uneducated belief in something?

      3. Arlen, I have locked out comments on my blog because of the hate I was receiving. I have heart health issues and the last thing I need is to be viciously attacked verbally by others. I do this for my own health.

You insinuate in your comment that I don’t have courage because I have shut down comments. You are wrong friend, because it takes far MORE courage to stick my neck out there in my faith than you could possibly imagine, so please don’t inaccurately judge me by declaring me wimpy – you have NO IDEA the strength and courage I have.

My understanding of atheism is solely based on the numerous and vast past discussions I’ve had with atheists. If your understanding of atheism is different than other atheists, that’s something you gotta work out with them. I write in earnest based on what (most) others have displayed and said.

You also have judged me by insinuating a lack of research (on my part) into my own beliefs. My beliefs are MINE….not yours or most people’s. How could there be a lack of research regarding my own personal experiences?

You judge me also by insinuating I avoid discussions because I don’t like to face truths presented to me by those “more educated” than me. Do you possibly hear your own words? Whose truths are they? Scientists? Yours? Atheists? I love how you all criticize Christians for what they claim are their truths and that they shouldn’t share them with the world, yet many atheists feel they can share their truths with anyone and everyone. Isn’t that just like a hypocritical liberal? Sit down and shut up while you listen to me because I’m smarter than you are….as they destroy freedom and prosperity and promote slavery, division, and murder.

Maybe you should read the latest blog I just put up and see if it shoves a mirror in your face? It should. Please take your passive aggressive speech elsewhere. I’m smarter than you give me credit for and if given enough time I would shred your pride to nothing and lead you to Christ; because I would show you in depth the reality of your situation. You truly would have no choice but to cry Uncle because you won’t win.

If you are truly interested in this debate, and not in it solely to change MY mind, but seek knowledge about what I believe also, shoot me your email and I will converse with you as I am able (I am an extremely busy woman). But I will NOT debate on this site. This blog is not an atheist sounding board, it is a Christian blog, in which those that seek Christ can come to and learn – NOT DEBATE. God bless.

  1. ACE! Latest posting is really excellent Brandy. Many thanks. Have inserted link into my header ‘Do You Know Him?’ Your bit on learning direct about the Biblical passages happened to me too, ie. just a reference – it puzzled if not riled an elder who’d been thoroughly grounded in scripture during his long life with the Brethren!

In online discussions with those who’re not yet free, we’re accountable only for sowing the seed of pointing the way to Christ. (On self-professed investigator of healing displayed a completed closed mind in refusing the personal, documentary evidence I submitted direct to her – para 2 of http://wp.me/p1Y1yB-1aU refers.) Such people haven’t yet got the faculty of understanding the difference between religion with its rubbishy ramifications and the reality of the spiritual dimension. As Jesus described the Pharisees, “The blind leading the blind, and both fall in the ditch!”.

You’ve done your bit. He will keep encouraging them to turn to Him, and they’ll be personally accountable to Him eventually for their choice – as I was alarmed to find out at the point of death! So the above person will find out sooner or later

  2. Wonderful blog, It is sad that people in my generation don’t have a foundation in ethics and morals. In addition to teenagers being apathetic towards what’s important in life.

  3. Can you explain this?

    Please observe:

    Luke 17:36-37

36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.”[f]
37 And they answered and said to Him, “Where, Lord?”
So He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”

Rightly divided with this (2 Tim. 2:15):

    Revelation 19:21

And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Please note that the context of the Rev. verse I posted is indeed when the Lord returns; when heaven is opened and the son of man is revealed.

    So please explain, sincerely,

    P.S. My weblog is meccasevenmountains.blogspot.com
P.P.S. Let this just be fuel to the fire to those that agree. So, in other words, you don’t need to explain it to me. But for those that disagree please email me with an explanation.
    P.P.P.S. And to all:

I sincerely ask you all to enjoy my weblog.

    1. It’s for privacy purposes MT….I get some serious hateful people coming on here….people who like to cuss and swear at me and tell me what they really think of me and Christians and Jesus as a whole. The amount of hate I sometimes get prompted the privacy level. TY for your question though 🙂
